Principal’s Message
Principal's Message
Dear Baldwin Lane Elementary Families,
It is an honor to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year as the principal of Baldwin Lane Elementary! Our entire staff is filled with excitement and enthusiasm as we prepare to welcome our students and families for another incredible year of learning, growth, and success.
Baldwin Lane Elementary is a truly special place. I have learned firsthand that the moment you walk through our doors, you become part of the Mountain Lion Family. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and nurturing learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We strive to help our students develop the mindset, skills, and confidence they need to embrace their future with curiosity, resilience, and purpose.
Education is most successful when schools, families, and the community work together. I encourage you to be actively involved in your child's education and to maintain open communication with our staff throughout the year. Together, we can create a strong home-to-school partnership that supports every student and helps them become confident, compassionate, lifelong learners.
I truly believe that success is not an accident; it is a choice. One of the most important ways we can support your child's success is by ensuring they attend school on time, every day, except when illness or other necessary circumstances prevent attendance. Building habits of punctuality and consistent attendance in elementary school creates a strong foundation for future academic achievement and lifelong success. When students are present every day, they are more engaged in learning, build stronger relationships with their peers and teachers, and feel a greater sense of belonging within our school community.
Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. It is a privilege to serve this wonderful community, and I look forward to partnering with you to make the 2026–2027 school year a memorable and successful one for every Mountain Lion.
With the highest regards,
Christina Cox
Principal
