Principal's Message

Dear Baldwin Lane Families,

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year! We are so glad to have you joining us! This handbook contains helpful information to keep you informed such as school hours of operation, holidays, snow day procedures, classroom locations, teacher names, and much more.

Our teachers have been working and planning to ensure your child is in a welcoming and academically rich environment. They will strive to support your student in becoming their best. We work hard in partnership with our families to create a connection that supports all students where they are academically and help them to meet their full potential.

We also promote 21st Century skills where students are well prepared with critical thinking skills and the ability to utilize technology. This will help our students to be successful no matter what they choose for their career.

Additionally, this year we will be continuing with our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program. This helps students to learn how to problem solve and engage appropriately with others. This will help them to be successful at school and promotes career readiness. It also supports a safe, strong, and positive community here at school.

We also have a robust Mountain Lion Booster Club here on campus and would love to have you be a part of it. Please see the calendar and join us for our next meeting. If you are unable to join the Booster Club please consider attending one of our assemblies or after-school events. We would love to have you join us!

I have an open door policy so please feel free to pop in anytime. We also have a monthly, “Coffee with the Principal”, so feel free to stop by to chat. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to call me at (909) 585-7766. I look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,
Catherine Tamayo
