LCAP Stakeholders Survey

The state of California requires each school district to create a Local Control Accountability Plan annually. This is a document that is created with input from ALL stakeholders as a plan for educating and supporting all students. As always, we need and value input from ALL our stakeholders as we make plans on how to best support our students and prepare them for their futures. Your answers remain anonymous.

Read - A - Thon

Dear Baldwin Lane Families,
We will have our annual Read-a-Thon on Friday March 12th/19th. We will have a fun day sharing the joy of reading with our students! Students are invited to wear their pajamas and log in to hear Dr. Seuss and other fun stories. Join us to celebrate and foster a love of reading! We will also be having an art contest. Please find additional information from your teacher in their google classroom. Happy reading!
The theme for this year is:
Oh the Places You Will Go!

Book Fair!

Please save the date for our upcoming book fair. Attached you will see the link that we will use this year. This year it is all digital but still a great event to help out our school library.
Mar. 8 - Mar. 21

Our Book Fair is online! Support our school and help your child discover new books, favorite characters, complete series, and more! You'll love the fun new option to shop for Book Fair exclusives directly from the interactive booklist and enjoy free shipping on book-only purchases over $25.

It's a new school year... let's instill a new-found love of reading!

Meal Service Changes

Please see the attached Flyers about changes to our meal service.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 25, 2021
All hybrid TK-5 students will be offered free breakfast, snacks, and take home meals at school. Weekend meals are available for parents to pick up on Fridays from 11:00am to 12:00pm at all school sites.

Non-Contact Thermoscan

Beginning Monday, November 16th, when your students arrive at school they will walk directly into the building where we have a thermoscan to take their temperature. It is completely contactless and other students will not be alerted if a student shows as having a temperature.

The thermoscan device does not take a picture or send information to anyone, it simply turns green if their temperature is in a normal range or red if their temperature is outside the normal range. In the event a student has a temperature, we will take their temperature again after two minutes. If they do have a temperature, their parents will be contacted to take them home.
Please feel free to call the school office at 909-585-7766 with any questions.
