Celebrate Earth Day with Baldwin Lane by Recycling!

We are excited to share that we will be coordinating a week-long recycling event in honor of Earth Day!
From April 18th-22nd we will be encouraging students, parents, and teachers to bring RINSED recyclables to their class. Any sized plastic bottles and cans are welcomed, but no glass, please.
Each day, one of our Boosters will be by to collect and tally the recycling for your class. The class who brings in the most throughout the week will receive a pizza party! The winner will be announced on Monday, April 25th!
With the money earned through recycling, we hope to do some planting to help beautify our campus.

Yearbooks Sale!

Yearbooks are on sale. This is the last week to get your yearbook. Hard covers are $30 and soft covers and $20. Use the link below to order or turn in order form to the school.

Snow day closure information

The Bear Valley Unified School District transports approximately 2,500 children to and from school each day.
In making decisions about the closure of schools, safety is the primary concern. The School District works with
the Highway Patrol and weather forecasting sites in attempting to make proper decisions regarding school
closure. Decisions must be made by 5:00 a.m. if buses are to be stopped and parents notified.

Please see the attached flyer about snow day closures and information.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidelines

Baldwin Lane Families,

In order to safely drop off and dismiss our students, please adhere to the
following guidelines when dropping off and/or picking up your child from school.

• Please follow all directions from staff and obey all traffic laws.
• Unfortunately, there have been reports of cell phone use and texting when vehicles are in motion. This puts you and others in danger. Please remember to follow all
traffic laws.
• If you intend to park your vehicle, please only park in an assigned parking spot.
• During inclement weather, please plan accordingly and leave your house a little early so that student tardiness will not be an issue.
• Please do not park in the pick-up/drop off circle
• Please use the sidewalks at all times.

Drop off:
Pull all the way forward when asked by a staff member and only drop off your child at the curb in front of the school.

Dismissal:
Encourage your child to be observant and watch for your vehicle.

Please recognize that our staff’s main concern during drop off and dismissal is the safety and
welfare of your child and all of our students. Staff have been instructed to notify me
if there is an issue.

We appreciate your cooperation, and patience during drop off and dismissal.
